Accessibility statement

CARB Diesel Test (Capital City Diesel Inspections) wants every truck owner, fleet manager, and driver to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities, and they are the benchmark generally used under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we have done

  • Text and buttons use color contrast that meets WCAG AA.
  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
  • Images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields have labels, required fields are marked, and error messages are announced to screen readers.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate them.
  • The site works when zoomed to 200% and on small phone screens, and respects reduced-motion settings.
  • We test the site with automated accessibility tools and manual keyboard checks, and re-test after changes.

Known limitations

Some content comes from third parties we do not control, such as Google Maps, our Google Business Profile, and the CARB Clean Truck Check portal we link to. We cannot guarantee their accessibility, but we are happy to help you with anything you need from them.
