- What is the difference between OBD and OVI testing?
- OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) testing is for 2013 and newer engines and uses electronic diagnostics. OVI (Opacity and Visual Inspection) is for 2012 and older engines and uses a smoke opacity test plus a physical inspection. We perform both at your location.
